the pros go.
This is where booksellers, librarians,
wholesalers, and other denizens of the trade go for their fresh
supply of New Star titles.
Trade
booksellers: 40% discount, returnable for credit; no minimum
order size for discount. A shipping fee amounting to 4% of net
invoice value is charged on all orders. Payment is due 60 days from
invoice date.
Plan
A is our consignment program. It's real simple. You carry a
selection of New Star titles appropriate to your store, and
periodically report on activity. You're billed only for books sold;
stock levels are maintained at the ideal level. There are zero
returns, and no dead inventory weighing down your shelves and balance
sheet. Plus, we'll feature your bookstore's name in our print ads and
catalogue, as well as on our website. Contact our Fulfillment
Deparment for more on Plan A.
Trade
and library wholesalers: Inquire about wholesale terms.
University/College
bookstores: Normal trade bookstore terms apply. Overstock must be
returned within 30 days of end of semester for which book were
ordered (i.e. end of January, May, or September); no cash refunds.
Individual mail
orders: Orders are accepted by regular mail, fax, phone, or
e-mail (orders@NewStarBooks.com). Visa, MasterCard, cheque, or money
order accepted. Add 6% GST to subtotal (15% in New Brunswick,
Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island). Add $4 for
shipping & handling, and allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
