Terry Glavin
Terry Glavin's columns and journalism have appeared in The Tyee, the Vancouver, Sun, the Globe and Mail, Canadian Geographic, and many other publications. He is the author of numerous books, including A Death Feast In Dimlahamid, This Ragged Place, A Ghost In the Water, and, most recently, Come from the Shadows. His work has earned him many awards, including several National Magazine Awards, the Hubert Evans Non-Fiction Prize and, in 2009, the BC Lieutenant-Governor's Award for Literary Excellence.
Sturgeon Reach, co-authored with Ben Parfitt, is Glavin's most recent New Star book. From its inception in 1994 until 2009, Glavin was the editor of the Transmontanus series, published by New Star Books. He lives in Victoria, BC, and is a columnist with the Ottawa Citizen.
